In our 1st comparison (BTC is AOL), we used technology evolutions to compare the two protocols, primarily by pointing out that BTC is AOL, while BSV is more like the actual Internet. In this comparison, we will compare BSV & BTC using an old marketing campaign. BTC is “New Coke”. The older generation will get this.
Coca~Cola Classic (BSV) vs. New Coke (BTC)
In 1985 some marketing “genius” decided to change the formulation of the Original Coca~Cola to “New Coke”. New Coke was a disaster, and was pulled from the shelves within 79 days, replaced by the original, but rebranded, “Coca~Cola Classic” formulation that started it all.
Bitcoin SV (BSV) is Coca~Cola Classic…the Original White Paper Formulation, a thing people fell in love with. Then a group of genius Blockheads (aka “Blockstream”) came along and decided they could do better. So they hijaaked something perfect, and created Bitcoin Core (BTC). Adding the Segwit Protocol was sort of like adding the extra sugar and artificial sweeteners they put into the New Coke formula. Tasted horrible, and it wasn’t good for you.
People are starting to realize that the Original Bitcoin they fell in love with is back on the market, rebranded as Bitcoin SV (“BSV”), and they have really missed all the things that they originally fell in love with – like that fantastic taste of original Bitcoin as spelled out in the Bitcoin Whitepaper.
As happened with New Coke, Bitcoin-BTC marketshare (with small 1mb Blocks incapable of holding enough data to run global finances; Limited Transactions incapable of keeping up with the needs of the economy of even a small town; and with Low Functionality incapable of smart computing) will just keep dropping, until finally it will simply be discontinued.
Bitcoin SV…. it’s the Real Thing Baby! … and its back!
